I think he's using our fans for the attention on Twitter, and to create some level of excitement for when he announces on NSD. Because if everyone already knows where you're going, it's pointless to wait.

To me, it's just like Bates, we knew he wasn't going anywhere else, everyone knew that. But he kept saying Florida and Bama were in it to create excitement for when he announced

How could he be "All Gator" at the opening? He had never visited UF until a few days ago. If anything, "All USC" since he's visited there so many times. And 247's crystall ball has it 71% USC, 29% UF presently. 3 of the 6 UF predictions are from Michigan writers and 1 is from Vandy homer, Barton Simmons. The only national writer is for varsity preps.

Jackson may very well end up at UF but I doubt he's been a UF lock and is trolling UT for publicity like you say. I think he has real interest in UT, otherwise he wouldn't have travelling to Knoxville for a visit on his own dime. And he did nothing but rave about his time at UT. Butch has a real shot to win this battle.

The only people that were declaring him "All Gator" were the Florida fans that came on here saying he was "gator chomping" and that "word is he was raving about the gators" and then NOTHING official came out of that.

Maybe I missed it on here, but from what I've most Gator fans don't even think he's "all Gator". I think most believe we probably lead for Adoree but its far from a shoe-in. In the end, I think the UF track program could make the difference.

Anyone know if his father went to uf with him?

Also, how serious is he about running track? I've seen people say that's one of the reasons uf seems to be the leader. I'd guess football will be his ticket to getting paid but I don't know how serious he is about track or how good he actually is. If he's just kinda doing track on the side for fun or to stay in shape that wouldn't necessarily mean uf has a better chance than any other school but if he is possibly Olympic good or really wants a good track program along with football as being a major part of where he goes then that would likely give the schools with the better track programs a somewhat sizeable edge, imo. I'm obviously hoping track isn't as important to him as football is. I do remember reading somewhere that he did meet with UT's track coach while in Knox and I'd guess he did at uf also.

He said he would rather make the Olympics than play in the NFL, so I think his track interests are pretty high

I've heard mixed info, some said he was there till Sunday morning, some said Sunday night, some said he was at Illinois Sunday.

I've read he was hanging out with Florida players the whole time, I've heard he was sitting all alone in the endzone, I've heard he loved his visit and claimed it was #1, I've heard it was a meh visit....there's so much misinformation out there, it's hard to read

He's a long jumper/triple jumper, not sure how his actual speed equates to the top sprinters. So, Justin hunter would be better at recruiting him than Gatlin. However, I don't know anything about our track program besides its been terrible lately.

If he's choosing based on track it's not going to be good for us. I think we offer a better depth chart at CB than Florida, and they have a better depth chart at WR. We have the better fanbase, and were all over him on twitter/Instagram (the good as well as the bad)

I just feel like he's trolling us, and I've said that from the beginning. I hope I'm wrong, because he's a stud, but it's how I feel.

Well if Adoree comes here, he's looking at an equally sick defense while he is here. While the front 4 is still in debate depending on who does well, we are talking about a defense with Bates, Mohoun(Sp?), Cherry, Adoree, TKjr, Mcneil, and Payne all on the field in two years. That is just sick nasty. Young. But sick.

I dont get that he is trolling us at all. We are a long shot for this kid, but for him to come visit speaks to his real interest in UT.

He loves twitter attention..and I hate that "ask" thing going around twitter cause some of the questions they answer are strange and I could only imagine how bad the ones they don't answer are....

I think it's hard to get a feel for where Jackson goes--247 "crystal ball" was calling for the Trojans...I don't see that happening. If he wasn't interested he and his dad wouldn't have come here on their own dime. The unofficial visit is more important than the official. There's no dressing up things to impress these kids with the unofficial--I got the impression this was a laid back informal thing that Jackson came away from loving--due to in large part to our commits making him feel like a brother. It may not mean a whole heck of a lot but it could make a huge difference to Jackson.

Mods said Jackson left earlier this morning and they will have an update later tonight or early this morning. He stayed from Friday-Monday, is that even legal?
