2. A script "TENNESSEE" on the front of the road jersey, above the numerals

3. A faint checkerboard design in the numerals on the road jerseys

Get your popcorn out, the tears will be epic for the old guys in here. They complain about just wearing black shoes.

If Adidas struggles to match the jersey orange to the helmet orange for 3-4 years... I am reserving my hope that the jersey design comes out well on this.

That's why I started it, I knew there was an uniform discussion thread but I wanted to see reactions to this new stuff.

Everything will hopefully be in this week to have an unveiling in the next week or two.

VQ posted a description of some of the changes to the regular uniforms after Butch showed them to recruits over the weekend.

Putting the state of Tennessee above the player names is something that's been needed for awhile. There will be a pattern in the road numbers, but it won't be noticeable except up close, much like the pattern on the shoulders of last year's basketball jersey.

Look for something light gray at Oregon and an alternate orange with a subtle pattern for a home game later in the season.

I'm anxious to see what they look like too, why not make a uniform change? ..change is a good thing & a positive thing.. people that don't like change, well maybe that's why things were as they were before.... hmmmmm food for thought? Now OT why doesn't the Pride ever change music? LOL LOL

Same here. I have always hated football jerseys that have the school name above the numbers. It's always looked high school-ish to me. The checkerboard numbers I'm cool with though. The state outline on the back....I'll have to see it. At least they're trying to mix it up a little.

Also the contract w Adidas runs out next year, in 6 to 8 weeks there suppose to re address the contract, .and Under.Armour and Nike aleady have bids out. Either of them would work for me.

agree on the school name. IMO the UT uniform should be recognizable enough without it but I'll wait to see what it looks like

it runs out on 6/30/15. I doubt they have bids out yet

This. I'm getting images of Colorado's jerseys from the 90's in my head, the one DiNardo copied at Vandy. If it's subtle enough, I don't mind, but if it pops out I'm not sure I'll like it.
