our catchers hair is longer than that. I told him this morning that I would give him 50 bucks if he got it cut like a man.

I cut my son's hair most of the time. The longest he ever gets is a #3 guard on he back and sides. That is the absolute max.

Completely unacceptable. At least the other three boys are being raised right.

the black kid is a special story. He has a deadbeat mother. We have to get him back and forth to practice, games, etc. He showed up to the first practice with no glove, cleats, etc, hardly has enough clothes to go to school. I told my wife to take him and get him some jeans, shirts, and Leighton had a basically brand new pair of those Reeboks with the squigly soles on them that he had outgrown that we gave him. We also bought him a glove, some game pants, and some cleats. He is a good kid, its not his fault his mother is a crackhead.

You're alright bubs, no matter what errbody else says.

We had a similar story with a boy on our football team. He misbehaved a lot, but I think we all recognized the situation he came from didn't give him the opportunity to learn better. Unfortunately, he's in foster care and will probably continue to move from home to home.
