#1 Heat v. #2 Spurs: THE NBA FINALS!

LeBron can guard anybody under 6'10 in the league (other than Zach Randolph) and do it very well.

I don't disagree with this assessment. However Parker is nonstop on the offensive ended and also receives at a minimum two screens per possession. I wouldn't want my main (and quite possibly only) source of offense dealing with that all game.

You're right, it would be tough. He could do it though.

I think Miami will start with Chalmers on him and se how he fairs. The Spurs run a ton of screens for Parker like you said but Miami is great at switching and rotating and can maintain the switch most of the time.

It's going to be a great series.

The problem with switching is the hesitation. The two involved hesitate to make sure they're picking up the others man and vice versa. The backline hesitates making sure all the penetration lanes are accounted for. San Antonio moves the ball quickly and cuts the well. It's a tough matchup either way. It's why they're in the finals. Hoping for a good series.

My heart says Heat in 5, head says Spurs in 4. Although the Spurs are an older team coming off a long break - we have the momentum and drive. If we play like we did in game 7 4 times, it's over for SA...
No chance Spurs make the sweep unless Lebron gets ACL'd in the first half of the first game or something like that.

This just baffles me. Out of everybody under 6'10 you choose Randolph.

A player who is on the down turn of his career. Just ridiculous. A guy who was below his averages this year also.

But, to argue a little more with your post. If Lebron is guarding those players for 7 games or more he is gonna be beat up, tired or even worse off on offense, which is what Miami needs.

I think it's cause Randolph plays bully ball down low. James could guard him because he's the far superior athlete but it would take a toll on him.

God I hope Lebron get's ACL'D!!!I'd throw a party! So sick of ESPN sucking his D***!

Cant beat him on the court so hoping for a awful injury makes sense.............Oh, you're a Celtics fan, makes complete sense now.

Randolph is 280 pounds and is really tough down low. He could guard Randolph for two possessions every so often, but Randolph would bully him for a full 48 minute game.

Is it me or is the ABC sound mix far too biased towards the arena noise - I can barely make out the commentators

The Spurs can't shoot. They sure the hell could shoot when they played my beloved Grizz, but they can't shoot tonight.
