#6 Warriors vs #3 Nuggets

In 25 minutes, Koufos/McGee had zero block shots and their +/- was a combined negative 1. They had two rebounds. You keep saying "They should be playing more" when during that playing time they aren't doing much anyways.

I can understand if they had a Center worth anything, but koufos and Mcgee both aren't very good.

McGee's inconsistent. He hasn't done anything in this round so far. Koufos is there for pick and roll D, that's about it.

Nuggets look horrible. Faried is the only player with a halfway decent game tonight.

One game from the two seed, one game from the five seed, and one game from being eliminated by a team that isn't really that good.

Yeah, and I would've predicted this if I had known Nuggets would go small ball. McGee, Faried, and Koufos averaged a combined 69 minutes per game in the regular season, but in the playoffs they are averaging just 43 minutes combined.

Ol Kenny kicked a hole in the wall of the visitors locker room. Three cheers for the nuggets. Stay classy.

Zbo has no reason to kick a wall. He's in dominant form because he's a basketball player, not a track athlete.

LOL. History repeating itself:

It’s amazing that the Warriors can successfully use the same strategy they used to defeat the Dallas Mavericks in 2007. In case you don’t remember, in that series, the 8th seeded Warriors — then coached by Don Nelson — goaded the 67 win Mavericks — then coached by Avery Johnson — into benching their center (Erick Dampier) and thus negating the Mavericks’ height advantage. Compare that to this year, where the Warriors have convinced George Karl into benching his centers (JaVale McGee and Kosta Koufos) and power forward Kenneth Faried in favour of guard-forwards Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer.

Mark Jackson is pushing the buttons on George Karl’s time machine

Well it helps that Curry isn't shooting the lights out, but it seems defending the paint might actually be a good strategy.
