I've heard they're great. Never tried anything that was smoked in one though. Not sure if you have something similar near you, but there's a place around here that lets you borrow grills, smokers, and fryers so you can try it out before yo buy it. I think they charge a small price depending on what you want to try out. My buddy borrowed a pellet grill that is similar to a BGE. He put $25 down, and it would have been refunded if he bought one. Well worth it to try it out in my opinion.
