Bombs at the Boston Marathon. 2 dead, 21 injuries. Heard almost 30 amputations have taken place.

Sad news...

there are unofficial reports from the boston globe saying there could be more than a dozen dead.

but yes, there were apparently limbs blown off and strewn about everywhere. crazy..

Oh my word! Very sad news… There are some crazy people living in this world with no conscience. Thanks guys for the update.

it keeps getting worse. the reported injuries continue to rise.

we will lose more as the night wears on

Hard to believe. It strikes at the heart of people's psyche. Heard the last mile was dedicated to the Newtown Shooting. That's where the bombs were set off. Truly messed up.

Awful tragedy. The more information that comes out, the more disturbing the story becomes. There is still a ton of speculation, but, I'm going to go ahead and post one of these bad boys:

Shout out to Pacer92, Boston fan, I don't know if he lives there or has family there, but hope all is well man. Terrible stuff, senseless murder.

Thanks Naptown, that's a thoughtful jesture. I appreciate the concern...it means a lot. I don't have family in Beantown, but I have some in Connecticut. Such a senseless and cowardice act today. My prayers are with all that were harmed and their families. And again, thanks for being a caring person! :hi:

A little off topic but I'm gonna be coming into Knoxville for the game and was wanting to try and hit up the bookstore on Friday to avoid the masses on Saturday. Where can I park that is somewhat close to the bookstore without getting a ticket or having some prick manager of a place on the strip have my car towed?

Bookstore has a parking garage rightnext to it. Short walk to the stadium from there too.
