I get the feeling we are either not recruiting the Berry twins very hard or they aren't drinking Butch's Look Aid. Anyone else feel this way?

VQ guys said the main reason that the Berry guys aren't making much noise is because Eric didn't either when he was coming out of HS. Paul said Eric never took a UOV to a school. Also, another important reason, is that their track schedule is almost every weekend.

I mean if you are going off them, every school recruiting them should feel that way. They are as tight lipped as any recruit out there

Good to hear. I didn't see TKjr, Hurd or Wharton tweeting them or mentioning them in the "legacy class". But again, good to hear.

My guess is Butch didn't ask those guys to recruit the Berry twins. Probably wants to do it himself, keep it low key. I think it's very possible the twins have already told Butch they will be Vols and are just waiting to announce when they're ready. JMO

Trent Dilfer said Dobbs and Ferguson were both impressive at the elite 11 on EA show. Said Riley is a fierce competitor and very creative. Dobbs is very smooth and extremely smart. Both have great potential. He said these are 2 future BCS starters on one team for one class and we got two good ones. Said Josh is a quiet assassin lol.

It could add up to coach Matthews "12-15" in the fold too.

From practice

Coach Jones said big day today to test response of team. Started slow. Finally at end offense played with needed tempo but long way to go.

Loud noises at practice: coach Jones said it is a work in progress. But he specifically said they're mindful of going to Oregon early in the season. Butch says he likes annoying noises. Gave the crying baby a c-minus. Said would be tougher Thursday.

Jacob Carter been most consistent punt returner. Vincent Dallas should be back Thursday

-John Brice
