Or CBJ will go down to Florida and take whoever the f*** he wants. And CWM and UF can sit and watch. And like it.

This. Any UT coach that would settle for the scraps after in-state Florida schools are done is no coach I want on the sideline. Yes, he's fighting an uphill battle but you can't have that attitude, period.

*ahem*

Yo, HG....serious question. ^

Not HG but grew up down that way. I prefer to be further north myself....Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter....but of the two, prefer Broward. Miami can be a lot of fun but VERY crowded and, imo, not as pretty as Broward and points north.

What's taking you down there?

 not when UF is winning...Saban got his foot in the door because Meyer went to sleep at the wheel. Ga and Clemson have always recruited the state well but they only get 2-3 top kids a year. Thinking UT will come take what they like.....smoking that Afghan.
You get what we give you in Fla.

Work possibly.

Thanks for the info. :hi:

Kind of off topic, but the Jayson Swain show might be interesting today:

Jayson Swain‏@JaysonSwain

Gerald Jones will talk about his college career at UT and the TRUTH surrounding the Gabe Wright to Auburn controversy.

some good areas in Dade but if you don't have an issue with commute then go with Palm Beach county..less crime, better schools and still close enough to Mia that you can get all the perks.

Thanks for the info about the schools. I have two girls, so that helps a lot.

:hi:

Also...how concerned should I be about Hurricane season? I'm used to Tornado season here...but they're a teensy bit smaller than, say, a Hurricane the size of Wyoming.

No reason not to put the offers out and recruit kids, but when Tampa kids have Big 3 offers they stay home 90% of the time..the ones that leave are bc of relationships at schools...Plant kids go to UGA then you have the few that headed to SC bc of Monte Kiffen..see how many they get from Tampa w/o him in LA. It's one thing to pull 10 Fla kids to WKU or Western Mich and it's another thing to pull 5-6 highly rated kids from instate schools.

The good thing about that area with regards to hurricanes, is that you have a natural barrier know as the Bahamas. Hurricanes lose power over land so usually the Bahamas will lessen the impact on South Florida. They also help with the surge from my understanding... They won't completely protect you but they will lessen the blow considerably...

I don't doubt that you're correct, its a well-known fact that the majority of Fla. recruits stay in-state but I'd rather our coached fight an uphill battle than none at all.

The answers always "No" if you never ask.

@HesSuchATEEZ(Jalen Tabor): Me @realdpayne @D_Realest7 @tonburr5 wanna join #Volnation but we all need the offer

You want them in the game, but you don't want coaches wasting time. They have limited resources.

Agreed but with there no longer being restrictions on social media, the coaches can begin forging relationships with recruits well before their senior season without having to spend much time or any $$ whatsoever.

Work smart, not hard.

Buy a house away from the beach - the storm surge does a lot more damage than the wind typically. When one comes, board up the windows & GTFO early so you're not caught up in traffic.

Come on Tabor, don't start this mess. You name 4 other schools your leader who haven't offered your buddy then say you want to be a Vol, just waiting on the offer for your buddy?

Mark Richt has lost control of twitter.

UGA’s Richt: “Twitter Has Gone A Little Crazy In Recruiting”

“Twitter has gone a little crazy in recruiting. Direct messages to kids are legal. And Facebook, there’s still a lot of communication going on through Facebook. But we just talked the other day — I personally need to get more involved on the direct messaging on Twitter because that’s where a lot of them are solely doing their social media communication…

There’s just so many people communicating that way, and following your program that way. And it’s the way to put really positive content out on our program, let people have a little bit of an inside feel on what’s going on here at Georgia, and what might be going on in my life or whatever — not that I do a lot of that.”

Richt told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he manages his own account and does not farm it out to someone on his UGA support staff.

"Drae has got a long way to go," Azzanni said. "He is a great kid and he will give you everything he's got, but as far as playing the receiver position he has a long way to go. He is giving it everything he's got, he's a great kid and he'll do anything I ask. That is a great thing. He won't ask questions, he won't ask why, but he just comes back for more and more."

"He struggles here and there, but here is a kid that has never played the position," Azzanni said of Young. "I am on him hard and he has actually picked it up quite well. He works at it. The other night, I'm not kidding, they were literally shutting the lights off in the indoor and he was out here by himself running every route. And guess what he did Tuesday? He had a good practice. The guys that didn't come out here and do all their routes weren't as good. It is easy."
