I got to be down in the dugout when the Reds opened the new stadium down here and they played the Orioles. So in a day I got to sit and talk baseball with the Griffeys, Larkin, Ripkin, Casey, etc. Even met and spoke with the first George Bush for a bit.

This is a fantastic post. You met Junior Griffey? What did a young Blu say to the President?

I met them all. Witnessed a little squabble between junior and senior. Pretty funny. As for the President, he did a lot of the talking. The thing I remember the most is when he first shook my hand and made it very clear how proud he was of me for volunteering. He seemed very sincere and it was a touching moment for me to hear that from a President.

Leave your personal feelings out of the equation. Dale Murphy is not even close to being the biggest snub in HOF history. Dale Murphy will be elected to the HOF when he can't wipe his own ass. MAYBE.
