someone please explain what is so scary and powerful about the Shield? How has such a great concept been completely crapped all over? Their wrestling skills are mediocre at best by today's horrific standards and not a one of them can work a mic to save their life. They have so much potential, especially by going after John Cena as what's wrong with the WWE, but instead they just babbled on and on without making any actual points.
What is so powerful about a powerbomb that takes two assistants just to pick the victim up for it?
Couldn't disagree more. Rollins and Ambrose are very good in the ring. Ambrose is one of the best talkers in the business. I haven't seen much of Reigns to have an opinion just yet, but he has a great look.
The Shield is one of the hottest things to happen in the WWE for quite some time. That said, I expect the WWE top mess it up somehow.
everyone keeps talking about how great they are in the ring, but their performances so far have proven otherwise. They have no actual talent, they look like early John Cena type stuff, just mauling people, no technique. And Ambrose on the mic is hideous. There's no way to prove it otherwise. He's yet to make a single point in any of his spots.
Bill, they've had one match since being called up. If you really want to get a good idea of their wrestling ability, look up since of their matches in NXT and the independents.
As far as Ambrose, look up of his previous promos. The guy is good. He hasn't shown his best as part of The Shield, but I don't know if that is his fault or the creative team. I have no doubt that he will be a bona-fide main event star.
Those NXT matches moved slower than those old school wrestling events at the National Guard Armories. I'm not buying it. He may be a bona fide star one day, but his time is not now.
I didn't know the belt could still spin actually. With the new one, what are they going to do with the brahma bulls once the Rock loses?
