Drunk Post Thread-Part II: Zoner Style

he seems like a legit dude, not much of a fan of his though. He thinks everybody should get out of the way and let him go to the front. If you dont, he will spin you to get there.
I used to be a pretty big NASCAR fan and Stewart was my driver. I never understood why that mentality made him a punk and Earnhardt a god.

Th old lady and her friend are having a girls night out. I am on the last of my six pack of Yazoo Pale Ale. I have a sixer of Blackstone APA in the fridge. I'm getting tore up tonight folks.

I havent really been watching it. Its on, but its just filler for me until the NHRA comes on ESPN2 at 9. Thats real racing.

I wish I had back all the money I spent on drag racing over the years.

The money is why I stopped. I had a little 85 ranger swb with a built out the a** 351W that pushed nearly 650hp in front of a 2800 stall torque converter. It would break your neck coming off of the line with slicks on it.

That truck was wicked but like all hot rods it cost too much to keep up.

I have been racing since I was 17. Ordered a new car last year but i was having health issues when it came in. Sold it before I even picked it up. It was a blessing though, gonna build a nice street car in the next few years and if my son acts like he takes an interest in it, I might build something bigger for him.

Any idea what you are going to build? I am out out the asphalt toys. I spend my time four wheeling now. I hope to buy a Arctic Cat Wildcat X later this year. It will probably be fall before I can do it though.

I am gonna either buy another Corvette, or buy a late model 5.0 Mustang and pro charge it. If I were to build another chassis car, not sure what it would be, especially since it will be 5 or 6 years minimum before I build it. My kid is only 13 and there is no way I would put him in a chassis car before he is at least 18.

I'm not a fan of mustangs but they are hard to beat for the money. You can build a quick machine without breaking the bank with a mustang. The Corvette speaks for itself. If I were to build another car it would have a 400sb bored to 406 and built up from there. I have seen crazy power out of those motors with all of the weight saving of a sb.

I had a sb 417 that made just shy of 1000hp a few years ago. If I do decide to build another race car, I am gonna go with a bb turbo car.
