I believe that Hurd's parents do like Franklin, but that still does not change the fact that he will never go to Vanderbilt. It's not even a thought in his mind, and whoever believes that is delusional. He has genuine interest in Tennessee, tOSU and FL. That's about it at the moment.

Good thing your opinion doesn't really matter, huh. Hurd has been at this height for 3 years. He will not grow vertically anymore. All he is doing is filling out at this point. He's up to 225lbs and he will be a RB. Tennessee needs a player like this. You have a problem with him running the ball?

And if we were to try and get him to play LBer he would drop us the same way he dropped bama for the exact same thing.

He's a RB, a tall one yes, but a RB nonetheless. Watch his films and see the fluidity in how he runs with the ball, he is a natural at the position and will not let his height affect his game.

I have a question. When a coach goes to a high school to visit a recruit does he walk around the school or is the recruit and the high school coach the only people that see him? Never had any coaches come to my school and recruit.

Jalen is looking at Vandy, but doing no more than looking. He can go anywhere he likes and he likes UT, OSU, UF right now as favorites.

OSU leads right now, but I believe that that has a lot to do with the lack of communication that the previous staff had with him. We are in it now more than we have ever been.

247sports has OSU and Florida as Hurd's favorites. Do we even have a shot? Also I looked on their top 100 2014 recruits and UT is listed in only a small handful of players lists. I hope this changes. We are going to have to win some games to get some of these big named guys.

We have a good shot. I have more faith in CBJ and staff but you're right, at some point we do have to win games, it's just a fact.
