I watched two of their games this year. The state championship game wasn't even a game, Beech's offensive line dominated. And as far as them being as good as last year, we will see buddy. I know you're close with JH's situation and appreciate what you bring to the board.

That's completely false. He created something from nothing 90% of the time. Their Oline wasn't impressive. When you have Hurd blowing through a small gap, and breaking through 5 or 6 missed tackles, it makes your Oline look a lot better than they really are.

Agree. Hendersonville DL did well vs. Beech. Jalen just took over.

They played at Maryville in 2001 in the semi-finals. My father and I went and Riggs was shut down. Now whether he played with an ankle injury or not, I have no clue. Maryville won the State Championship the next weekend.

The most impressive run I've seen from Jalen was on a 4th and 1 against Hendersonville last year. Beech was backed up into their own redzone and still decided to go for it. Predictably they handed it to Jalen who got hit maybe two yards behind the line and then proceeded to drag three defenders about five yards to get the first down.

Also Beech's offensive line wasn't bad. Taylor Podany is a monster and was, last that I knew, going to MTSU on a wrestling scholarship.

I hope he has a terrible season but UT recruits him and no one else does. Maybe then UT will land a top RB. Joking. I hope he lands at UT. We need him.

**** Ohio tattoo state. I live in Ohio and don't think I can bare anothe Tennessee recruit coming up here. He needs to be in the orange and singing rocky top once CBJ gets us back on track.

CBJ has over a year to build a relationship with Hurd, unlike with Bell were he had a little over a month. I'm confident he can get this done.

True, but him being a hometown kid I think gives us a shot, but your right until vandy can have a a season like aTm, it's going to be a struggle to take the recruiting up to a top 15 top 10 level.

If I remember correctly, Red Bank was 5A & Maryville was 4A in 2001. If I'm right then they would not of met in the playoffs.
