Normally, I would say that 1 player does not make or break a recruiting class, but in this case, Bell could take this class to a whole new level. Not just with him being a talented in-state player, but legitimately beating OSU and UA for his services.

heh...Lawson, Carr, Green, Bellamy, North, and a few others are just as big.
Gotta admit tho...if we get em all Vonn would probably be my favorate.
I have to say with Bell announcing live on ESPN U and the prevailing thought being that he is a heavy Bama lean with OSU second...he is my most wanted recruit.
If he were to pick up that TN hat and commit to Coach Jones over Saban and Meyer on National TV...it would be program changing for sure.
IF and I know right now it is a big IF, he puts on that Vol cap...it would be so huge for our perception to beat Meyer and Saban.
I mean program changing huge.
-Rivals.com"Tennessee was at his house for a home visit, and they're going to visit there this weekend," Mariakis said. "They're behind the eight ball with the timing. It just takes time to build that relationship. They did a good job today in the home, and they're looking forward to the campus visit this weekend. They'll make a decision on everything after Sunday when they get back from Tennessee. I think we'll probably meet Monday or Tuesday with the family and kind of hash out everything. They'll make a decision pretty early next week but hold on to it until National Signing Day."
-Rivals.comNext up for Bell was an in-home visit with Tennessee on Monday night. The new Vols coaching staff did its best to give Bell a glimpse of its plan to get Tennessee back to national prominence.
"It went really good," he said. "Coach Butch Jones, my mom was really impressed with him. The whole staff came up to the house so it was real good visiting with them and we're going to go down there this weekend and see how they are doing things and what they're going to bring to the table in the future."
Bell will be in Knoxville on an official visit this coming weekend. While many feel the Tennessee visit has extra importance because of the new staff, Bell insists that it carries the same weight as the others.
"(The Tennessee visit) is important just like all of the other ones," Bell said. All of these visits are important, so we're just going to go down there (to Tennessee) and see what they're going to bring to the table as far as putting Tennessee back on the map."
The Tennessee official visit will be Bell's last before making his decision on National Signing Day. Still, there could be some in-home visits between now and then, specifically with assistant coaches as the head coaches have all used their in-home visits. Ohio State safeties coach/co-defensive coordinator Everett Withers still has an in-home available to him and has been keeping in regular contact with Bell.
With just a couple weeks until he decides, Bell says things are still wide open as he begins to process all of the information from his visits.
"It's dead even right now," he stated. "There isn't anybody in front of anybody."
