Just was never impressed with him since I saw him play in HS. He had 3 games over 100yds this year against teams that could not stop the run if they had 15 players on the field. Against the 2 best run defenses he faced he got 4yds on 4 carries against UF and 3yds on 2 carries against UA. He is not made to run through holes in the SEC.

Kamara will be at Bama for the NC parade on the 19th which is part of the reason we pushed for this weekend for his visit. Still wish we were getting the last visit but it makes sense that Bama has a good chance - he has waited this long instead of choosing UGA, and was at the NC practice and game. we will see

Try reading some threads where this is talked about more in depth. A lot of posters subscribe to a pass rushing DE being the most pressing need seeing as though our defense couldn't get to the QB and allowed 40 points a game. Don't know how a RB would help us there.

I thought MZTERRY was Kamara's second mom. Sounds like some other player's mom might not be takin the high road as our player's mom is.

Apparently not...altho it's been known that Kamara and Ramsey have been very close for awhile. Not sure it will be enough to pull him away from bama...

Really hate that it looks like he won't be wearing orange in the fall.

He'll be wearing a redshirt next year at Bama or UGA.

I think the mods should move any recruits thread to the NCAA forum if they are not considering the VOLS. That way the trolls will spend less time here in the recruiting forum and we can concentrate on the players that either are VFLs or at least giving us a chance. We could move Kamara's and Ramsey's right away. I get tired of seeing their threads on the first page.

Is there a quote anywhere from Kamara that he has been told he would play as a true freshman or be redshirted. I have seen neither and would interested in reading those quotes.

I know his commenets about UA were he was told opportunity is there but it would be up to him an dwhat he does with it. As most recruits said they have been told you have to work hard and earn everything.

All I'm saying is that I believe he will redshirt at Alabama or Georgia, while he would be no worse than the second team RB at UT, and probably end up starting by years end.

He won't be riding the bench. He won't be red shirting. He won't be making Gatorade.

I believe he is UGA bound, and he will be seeing the field plenty next year.
