The tone of that ESPN article makes it sound like it was a phone interview done while the family was on the way to Knoxville. Not worried.

They were in the drivers seat prior to North's latest visit, which was set to give Tennessee the opportunity to jack their ride! I bet they did just that.

Tennessee was in the driver's seat with Otha Peters, as well. Recruiting, particularly in the last month, is a fluid business, with surprises up until NSD. I'm perfectly confident with our position in regards to Marquez.

Not news. He said himself recently that UNC has a slight edge. Means as much as someone saying that Tennessee has a slight edge, i.e., nothing.

I do agree with this. I like the fact that CBJ is getting all of these recruits to take a look at us. For some reason, though, I get the feeling that this class is going to end up similarly to Lane Kiffin's 2009 class. Alot of great prospects looking at us last minute, but unable to flip them last minute. Alot of fans being let down. 2014, will be CBJ's real opportunity to real in a monster class and I believe he'll do just that. Unfortunately, transitional recruiting classes aren't always the best.

Lets wait for the article that comes out on Tuesday. And then the one after his visit to UNC next week. And then the one the day after signing day explaining why he chose the Vols

I like you as a poster. But, if Carrie Underwood were in a bed begging you to share it with her, I am afraid you would think she was talking to someone else who may come into the room who is not even in the house and run away yelling it can't be real.........must be a dream. We are not going to get all the recruits but dang, you only see the negative in all of them until they commit. Then you still say they may not sign come NSD.

Some are sunshine pumpers but you are the biggest sunshine dumper I have seen. You always only want to look at why we won't get someone it seems.

Not being mean but it is now just plain funny. Thanks for the entertainment.

No argument there, it was from today. I'd be worried if his dad said NC was in the drivers seat as they were leaving Knoxville.

I have no idea if he'll sign with the Vols or not, but I still like our chances and this article did nothing to discourage me.

Yes but the issue is that many on here thought we were squarely in the lead before this weekend. This article blows that theory out of the water. Once again either the dad is lieing or a lot of posters here have been fooled up until this point.
