'13 JUCO DT Ben Bradley (Auburn commmit)

Maliek Collins - Yahoo! Sports

This kid could be a factor on where B.Bradley ends up.. he is a DT. He is deciding between Mizzou and Nebraska.

"I felt like the team there, they were all together," Collins said. "They showed they were a family. They got together on the weekends, and it wasn't just like they were getting together for the recruits. You could tell they all hang together regularly."

Collins made the trip with his mother, who enjoyed her time in Columbia.

"She liked it a lot," Collins said. "But I think she likes everywhere."

At this point, Collins said he's focused on Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa, but added a clarification.

"Really, I think it's mainly just Missouri and Nebraska," Collins said.

It is hard for me to stomach the thought of losing Bradley to Nebraska or Missouri. He is from Georgia and, thus, UT is much, much closer to his family. Missouri sucks (yes, I know they beat us this year but that was with the Sunseri defense) and Nebraska has reached its peak under Pelini (the near upset of Texas with Suh at DT) and has showed a startling lack of improvement year to year with a huge blowout to a bad Wisconsin team to finish the regular season. Bradley could come to UT and be a member of, I hope, a much improved defense and be close to his family. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't like it and as a fan don't understand it but it's his decision and he has to do what he feels is best for him. He is the one that is going to have to live with his decision whether it is at UT or any other school. Adios amigo!

JUCO recruiting often borders on semi-dirty recruiting, so we may never know the reasoning behind his decision.

There is always "something" noone knows anything about when a kid flips from UT or picks another school when it is time to sign. Character, grades, paid off, shady deals, better guys on the board, something. NO recruit could pick anywhere but UT and be 100% alright in the world. Always makes me laugh when the excuses start.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking it had to do with our very public coaching change, nothing more.

According to the Boneyard(a Nebraska site on 247), he may be reportedly going to Nebraska due to online class that wouldn't even allow him to play for any team in the SEC. Don't know how valid this is, but another possibility on this situation.

IMO, it has to do with a certain GA not being retained. I saw someone said Staley has not been dismissed yet, but CBJ has already mentioned 2 new GA's names. Could be alot of things. It may be he just decided to go elsewhere.

A report or a message board post?

Supposed Nebraska insider. Point remains I doubt it was anything 'seedy'. Just a common occurrence that happens with coaching changes. Lose some. Gain some. Do hate losing a talented player in a position of need.

The worst part about this thread is that I'm going to keep checking it everytime its bumped, but one of these times its gonna say committed to Nebraska/Mizzou. That sucks.

I'll tell you all the same thing i've always said. This is a very sensitive time for recruits and families. Message boards , social media can make a break some ppl. I just read deleted posting on fb from his mom..... I can relate to how she's feeling.

Y'all don't have a clue as to what really goes on and when a family is trying to make a life altering decision its hard,...on top of the boards, coaches, reporters, etc....and for whatever reasons they've decided to move on be it the family, coaches or by mutual agreement, there's nothing us cyber stalkers can do about it. Pray the best of luck to the kid, because he's the only person who is most effected by all decisions being made on his behalf
