I wonder if Strong would keep the entire offensive staff intact?

I'd bet that's a possibility. I'd rather see some new blood at OC and QB positions, but I'm much more concerned about getting our defense up.

A coordinator that can gameplan for and attack a good defense. Also one that knows how to call a game. 3rd and 1 with a good OL run your best run play not a deep route to 11. Also an OC that can at least use his personnel to the maximum. I don't want Chaney here period anymore. Look at his playcalling versus Bama and Florida. And watch him in 3rd and short situations. Just a dumbass at times.

I definitely cussed the tv on more than one occasion when we threw on 3rd and short. Three passes inside the 10 yard line was another one that blew my mind.

You're making a great argument for Fedora. I still it would depend entirely on the staff put together IMO.

It would be awesome to see him bring Zook in as his DC/Associate Head Coach. Fedora was an assistant under Zook at Florida.

I know he isn't the name most people are hung up on, but with a solid staff pretty much anyone will look good, Fedora is definitely a solid option.

The biggest concern for recruiting IMO is keeping current commits (JRM, Carr etc) landing D Green and North, flipping Ramsey, Hatcher and Lawson.

I want THAT coach and staff. Like you said, I think Fedora could go a long way to locking up North, hopefully Green too if he would retain J Graham. Someone like Zook could be great for our chances with Ramsey etc. I guess we'll know in about two weeks.

James Quick is more like Amari Cooper than M.North. After watching Quick's film I think he is electric. Hopefully Strong can pull some top guys out of KY&TN to Rocky Top. Hatcher, Quick, as well as Vonn Bell, Donald Gray, and possibly guys like Frank Herron, C.Morris and Corn Elder.
