Cincy was one of Tennessee's only decent wins under Derek Dooley. If UT beat Cincy then Butch Jones is not a winner.

If you are a true vol then you will put your negativity aside and give this guy a chance. He is going to be compared unmercifully to DD but when you do remember 2 huge differences.

Jones is a proven winner. Certainly not at the level we want to see but he is a winner and DD had never been that.

Jones wasn't born in third base like DD. He has had humble beginnings and will have a huge chip on his shoulder.

All of you that found a way to hook line and sinker follow an anonymous poster that clearly isn't a VFL and has his Texas A&M shirt on this morning can surely find a way to support a man that has won championships at every stop along the way during his career.

Just stop it man. I knew this "true Vol fan" post would be made. I don't need a rah rah speech. TRUE VOL fans care who our next coach is. Not blindly get behind any pig with lipstick they put out in front of us. I hope we luck out somehow and he is great of course. This is the direct result of an incompetent AD that gets paid over seven hundred thousand a year.
