Let me say this. No one feels worse than Freak. He feels like he failed you guys. He's working his ass off. I think people would be SHOCKED how much work he puts into this.

I'm not trying to start a sympathy party, I'm just letting people know this is really tough.

Haven't been active on the Gruden threads. But if this goes down, then Hargis will feel about the same way I did when I was living in Tallahassee in January, 1999. He'll be lapping up the envious hate from peers who failed to do the work he actually took the time to do.

It would be one massive, collective Johnny Cash middle finger to the rest of the nation. Lord knows this fanbase needs that kind of opportunity.

I hope like hell those of you who have kept the faith on Gruden are right. I'd love to see the look on Mark May's face if this deal went down.
