It appears the OGs got some good info all within a few minutes of each other. They can't come out and just say it, so they've gone to a system of ! and :) to show us it is getting closer. I even asked for a system of a big orange exclamation meant within 2 days, a normal explanation meant within 4 days, and so on.

They then came on with "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Earlier this evening Y4B posted that we have our guy and it will be announced with 24 hours. (Paraphrasing, but essentially that.) Others seem to be hearing the same thing.

And now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

Ok, I will try and ask as nicely as possible without hurting anyone's feelings.

Besides one or two guys who say they are "insiders", is there a shred, ever the tiniest amount, of evidence that Gruden has any interest in coming here?

So you are saying Gruden, a super bowl winning coach, will hire a HS football coach on his all star team? You have to be kidding.....

If a HS coach retiring gives you more "validity," we need to put thorazine in your water supply.

Boro, OV and others got good news around 1:30 today.

Y4B believes Gruden will be announced in the next 24hrs.

I just keep going back to Alabama and Saban and how many times he denied interest gives me some hope I guess that we could have a similar situation here.

I'm trying to stay calm through this schrade of a coaching search....either this turns out very very bad or it's Gruden....I'm hoping for the latter....if history tells us anything it's going to be........?????

He will come here now, because it's always been this way. I know you don't believe that, but it's true. It's always been Gruden since well before DD was fired.

How has it always been this way if we have just offered Strong? This doesn't make any sense.

BREAKING NEWS: I have an inside source guys, and it's Gruden himself. He told me two things.
  1. His newest hobby is to open this thread every night, take a drink of milk, and blow it out of his nose.
  2. Says that the more people that like this post, the more he will consider the job....not really...well maybe.
