The fan base knows better... If there really was anything going on with Gruden, Hart effed it up. Even if by some piece of incredible luck Hart was able to get Gruden now, the fan base isn't naive enough to think Hart did it on his own.

Now, you're catching on...he didn't do it on his own. It's been done by the heavy hitters. Hart will look like he made the hire, just as we have been trying to tell you!

Like I said, I will eat my crow if it doesn't happen, as I love the recruiting forum and won't leave...as long as you and the rest of the gang here eat your crow and apologize to everyone of your fellow Vol fans that you laughed at here.

I don't have a problem with that at all. And I don't think anyone here has asked you to leave. If they did then they are wrong in doing so. Your entitle to you opinion even is its wrong. :) j/k

HA! I was one of the first to advocate this theory.

However, the theory has been shot all to ish because Hart completely effed it up. You can't swoop in to save the day if you are the reason the deal go effed up in the first place!

You know I think we get the Gruden schtick. If it happens so be it, but if you want to dwell on it there is a place for you.

Anyone starting to see what's happening here? The media is starting to throw out tidbits of possibly trying to entertain an offer w/ Gruden. Da da da da...here he comes to save the day!! Super Dave Hart!

man you are optimistic!

and you have a lot of faith in the hiring ability of a man that hired Sal as DC

Every time I read one of your posts it sounds like this:

Luke...come over to the dark side...

Why does skeet disappear for big chunks of time??? His obligation is to us! Ha.

Nashville sports radio is saying a Louisville sports entity is saying there is a team meeting at 3:45 EST. and supposedly it is to say it is tell them he is staying.

To add to volssam's post, the actual radio station in Louisville that reported this gave no indication of whether it was to tell the team he was going or staying.

Oh I thought they said the L'ville people were saying he was supposedly telling his team he was staying.

I sure hope not though. Get it done Hart!

Could just be wishful thinking on my part but you don't usually call a team meeting to announce you're staying...

Fingers crossed..

Ahhhhh Volnation is going to be dead during the most important time!!

Freak kick those servers into high gear!

The team meeting had already been scheduled, it was to tell the team about their bowl prep schedule.

Sidenote: If we end up missing out on Strong, I'd rather give Fulmer $3-3.5 mill & bring Chavis back than to offer a Butch Jones or someone like that.

No, Phillip Fulmer can never coach at Tennessee again.

If we hire Fulmer back I don't think I can do this anymore. I love the man but we don't need to go back.

Team meeting already scheduled?? I question that being accurate since they also had a public appearance event schedule this afternoon. Hard to have both I would think
