It depends on what staff we are talking. If Hart is standing up for Graham and Pittman I am too.

That said I don't believe Swain at all. No one knows what is going on in the media.

Exactly, so what's the rush on UT's end? Just recruiting, but we can all agree that recruiting will take care of itself with the right hire. I'm just not confident right now that they are capable of making the right hire, just comes off as so unorganized because of all the speculation that is allowed to go on based on the lack of info they put out from the AD.

Could be they don't think Strong has an SEC staff and don't want them to come.

Then you dont offer that coach. If you dont think a coach can bring in an SEC staff then why even bother?

This is beyond a damn mess and we are going to end up with someone like f'n Golden or some crap. Seriously if Hart jacks this up, peace out.

With AU and Ark naming coaches, UT's negotiating position has improved. It's only natural that discussions, based on that change in position, would ensue. I think we need to relax and look at it as UT is the only game in town for a top-notch coach looking to better his situation.

While nothing is guaranteed, I think we should be more positive today than yesterday. Instead, the paranoia sets in. I blame this 'sky is falling mentality' on Kiffin ad Dooley.

OSU mods are acting like its more of a certainty that Gundy stays at Ok St. They said they were more worried about the Arky job than UT.

I thought this was interesting.

Mike Gundy took over at OSU for a 28-21 LES MILES. He then went on to have a coaching record of 66-35.

I don't like the Fedora or Gundy idea. I like Shaw as an out of the blue Bielima type hire. In the back of my mind I have this notion of Fulmer with the current O staff minus TE/ST coach plus Tee Martin. The D staff would have to be revamped big time and not sure how that would go. Idle specualtion, yes.

I believe it's Strong based on the situation. I could get excited about Gundy or Fedora. Part of me thinks this hire could come out of left field like Arkansas' hire of Bielema. Nobody knows except Hart (hopefully).
