I didn't notice that. If that's the case that's on the coaches. No excuse not to spike the ball there. Would've had at least two plays possibly three. Did I mention how much I hate bama? Damnit. Just glad I don't live there anymore.

fanbase should demand for hart to be fired
fanbase should beg haslam to fix this
fanbase should not go through another "on-the-job training" disaster

And


I have watched this for sometime...The way this broke apart is very fishy. I believe tthe flame of Gruden to Tenn. is still alive and will happen in the right time frame. Otherwise non of this makes any sense.

I know I'll get ripped for this but I'm not 100% sure Gruden is totally out of the picture. It's likely a very small one but I think there's still a chance. Now go ahead & let me have it lol.

Btw, where is oci? Thought he had an email about that situation.

Anybody wanna share 247's new update? Swain said that it mentioned Gundy was Hart's number 2 choice behind Fisher.

So many fans stating they are done if hires like Jimbo, Gundy, or others are brought in.

While Charlie Strong heads my list, in no way am I done if someone else is hired.

Was Les Miles doing great things at OK State when he was hired by LSU? He was solid, but 9-4 was his best record while at OK state. He has been so much better at LSU.

Whos to say if you give some of these coaches the resources of an SEC coaching staff and facilities to recruit that they cant do better?

Again, I have a pecking order in my mind, but the fact some of our fans (a solid amount I have seen) saying they are done with the Vols based on the next hire is insane, especially when they wont even wait to see how the coach does.

Okay Skeet....I heard that TN offered a scholly and no head coach....the kid was formerly an FSU commit? What's up with that?

I understand that. I am just saying that people saying they will no longer be fans if coaches who have been to BCS bowl games are hired is pretty nuts.

Again, they are not my preferred hires, but I will at least give them a fair chance.

Gundy finished with the number 3 team in the country just last year. On a team he built.

My problem with Gundy is his air it out offense. I don't think he is going to be our coach though. IMO, he's just trying to get a raise.

Miles had Sabans team and then Chavis. He's an offensive coach whose offenses have been average at best. He's a good recruiter and is the beneficiary of an elite DC and taking over an elite team. Bad example.

I still agree with your point, but LM is way overrated and I had to get on my soapbox for a sec.
