Speaking of adult swim, I am sure you saw the Squidbillies episode with Tom Treebow (or whatever it was they called him). I don't think I have ever laughed so hard...

Dude, have you watched football for more than 1 year. FSU started sucking about the same time we did. As soon as he took over they started lookin like FSU again. He was a helluva recruiter BEFORE he got to FSU. Runs a power run, play action pass offense. Will bring back an attacking 4-3 defense (Chavis maybe). And he wears a big ass NC ring too. Get a grip man!!!!!!!!!! If we cant get Gruden, than Fisher would win big here and recruit like a beast!!!! GBO!!!!!!!:peace2:

No, if I was Hart I would jump all over that. Football team sucks he can say told you so and fire Gruden blame free. Easy peasy

Are we really at a place in our history that we should be turning away a Mark Richt style coach?

Would you turn down a few 10 win seasons right now?

We need forward progress, not a strike out looking for the proverbial home run hire that has as much unknown as known.

Been thinking about this a lot. What if the fantasy land remark was meant for Hart. As in, what fantasy world do you live in, where Gruden is not your #1 choice.

Fisher is a solid coach. He has been on the job three years, if he beats Georgia Tech today he will AVERAGE 10 wins a season (FSU hasn't had a ten win season since 2003). I think his record against the SEC is 3-1, with two of those wins coming against Florida and one against South Carolina.

Fisher might be just what the doctor ordered...

We are not a Florida and can not hand pick 3 or 4 five star and 18 four star players that want to play in their home state. His success is mainly his players is much better than their opponents.

Team wins sounds nice, but I don't want UT to get complacent and just catch a coach on his down slide. I really want to find that guy who is going to beat Saban more than he loses to him, I think that should be the goal even if it is unreasonable.

I think that is a valid concern, but I would say this.

Those recruits at FSU are being recruited by almost every other SEC team, including Florida. He has made really good in roads there. I am sure it is difficult convincing a recruit to come play in the ACC with almost no chance to play for a national title when every SEC school is selling them on playing in the best conference in the nation. He has done VERY well there.

FSU went through a prolonged down period, just as UT has, after being a powerhouse in the 90s, just as UT was. He has shown he can rebuild a program succesfully.

If we go with coaches who have never lost against a team they shouldn't have, our list would quickly dwindle to ZERO, or Gruden who has never won a game either.
