Rhetorical question, as in I already knew my answer before you asked. :)

Gotcha covered. :)

Thank you for covering the like and for the gif. I couldn't find that one! :good!:

Couldn't agree more. Sparty may not like some people around here but I bet the things he posted are closer to accurate than most want to admit.

Oh yeah. I don't believe it was over money. It was there. More likely if this is really done that Gruden told his agent he had second thoughts and THEN his agent priced him out.

Actually this wouldn't bother me at all if Gruden just said college ball isn't for me.

not believing that some still insist this is all for show and a done deal. That's just stupidity, tbh.

Gruden decided he didn't want to chase 18 yr olds around and be strapped by an ncaa rulebook and other limitations.

Can't say I blame him.

Actually it could be just this simple

We may never know what actually happened, or even a close account of what happened. All we can do is speculate.

And that's supposed to be fun. :)

My gut is telling me we are about to hire a coach that has not even been mentioned and we are all going to be pleasantly surprised. Just a feeling. Trying to stay positive.

I just hope it's not someone 95% of the fan base has to google, because they have no clue who he is.

I'd say for most people it is more hope than belief at this point.

hope is fine. I've always hoped it would happen, but was pretty sure he wouldn't make the jump for a couple of simple reasons. Not money. Not control.
The guarantees about mou's and blame on Hart or whomever in regards to this Gruden deal should stop though.

He should have stated that early on then instead of stringing things along till it got out of hand. I don't think he just woke up and said "Naw...I don't think so". Something happened in a hurry to make it go south. I think it was either the leaks to the media or he didn't think he could work with Hart.

I know I've said that a before and I hate to be that guy, but didn't nick saban tell Alabama no 3 separate times publicly and look what happened. I'm just saying.

The only thing I find odd is why would Gruden let his agent basically take a **** on us publicly? Doesn't make much sense.

*Tin foil hat alert*

Unless the agent knew since he was talking to KNS reporter and is keeping the cover-up going

He can't do that it would tell every candidate to ask for the same money. We are better with hart being able to say to candidates privately that gruden was nt affordable but that doesn't need to be said publicly

Im talking about in general as to why he is not the coach. Not just the money.

Im sure the rest have a pretty good idea what UT was gonna have to pay to get him. They have agents too.

My uncle lives in Chatt and told me earlier that there were RUMORS that Hart is gone after Dec. because of the lawsuit filed due to the firing of the girls administrative assistant and the forced step down of Summit. And that UT is going to lose the lawsuit due to the disabilities act. Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't know anyone to dislike them and I don't take this stuff as serious as some. That's where a disconnect often is. If I respond, it's to something said in a post, not personal.

I think some people on here got caught up and carried away with the whole deal, and I don't really think that's up for debate, tbh.
