Things like wanting to control the schedule I heard was an issue. If true Hart's ego got in the way more than Grudens.

We did not move 18 million dollars around just to be able to hire Strong or Fedora. If we end up with Kirby Smart, Harts walking papers need to be laying on his desk the next day he comes to work.

If gruden really wants to be a vol then he would work with us and become the coach. I understand the psychology of NOW rationalizing that Gruden's ego might have been too big for this place. It is like when we miss on a recruit and THEN start picking him apart about his forty time or whatever but even dumba$$ Hyams admitted yesterday Gruden was interested. Also, maybe Little is right that he kept asking for more but Basilio reported that his agent came back a couple of times lowering demands. Ahhh, who the hell knows what to believe anymore about any of this?

I'm not sure the Gruden deal wasn't blown by Hart so he could bring Smart in. And yes, shouldn't even be allowed to clean out his office if that happens.

Morning folks!!! Sun came up so all is not doom and gloom. Let's see how this plays out which is what I'm doing. I will be happy with any of the canidates being discussed except Fedora and Al Golden which would be a joke!!!! I'm still all in for Gruden 100% until I see otherwise.

P.S. Side note, I spoke yesterday to Jennifer who son "Austin" OT 2013 class is committed to the Vols for this signing class. She says she still is told 6-10 days we will have a new coach and her son's scholly is safe for now so she is praying for a good coach for her son and everything will work out as her son is and always will be 100% VFL!!!!

If this is true about hart, manning and haslams also had say, to all accounts they are the ones pushing this gruden thing(these were said to all be friends of gruden). I say next announcement is hart is fired, if the haslams are heart struck on gruden and hart got in the way. There pockets are endless. So much speculation, but at this point i cant believe anything i here til i see someone at the podium. If that happens i assume fulmer would be new ad because he bleeds orange.

You folks need to move your energy to Strong and lobby for him. I think Gruden's agent more than clearly stated Gruden never wanted to be here and Hart said he never was on his list. Fantasy world = true

Babyvol is still saying Gruden. He said just watch some one will come in at the last second and save the thing. Hope so its still possible.

I heard 6 to 10 days a week ago! HA! Not attacking what you were told but I don't know what to think.
