Yes, but that came from LaMonte, not Gruden.

But, that's his agent, right? He's an extension of gruden (no pun). I mean after all of this, wouldn't gruden talk with his agent before an official statement is made? Surely gruden didn't agree on the fantasy land part...that's a slap in the face to alot of us

Tell me how good he is then Jason and big hairy. I see the two best wins being NC and KY. The remainder of the schedule is crap. Not to mention the losses at the end. Tennessee with Dooley could beat Louisvile 8 out of 10.

Ultimately, I want to keep a pro-style offense. Therein lies my unrest for Charlie.

No way Dooley beats him 8 out of 10 times. He barely beat Troy. Next Louisville is a very young team. You cant compare teams anyway dude. He would get much better and more consistently hifher recruits at TN than he would at Louisville. Next he is a defensive guy so he is more focused on defense. He could keep Chaney, Pittman and Graham and run the same offense. Who really knows what he will run at UT. Do you not think if we had Strong this year we would have atleast 2-3 more wins if not more? He had really good SEC defenses, so I say yet. He would recruit circles around Dooley. If Skeeter is saying our recruiting class would easily be top 5-10 this year and top 5 next season then I believe him. He knows that next level recruiting Strong takes us too. He is very well respected in Fl and GA and well known. Unlike DD who is not liked. If that doesnt convince you thwn your just being argumentative and wouldnt matter what anybody said.

Unless Hart pissed him off and he thought "I'll show that mother f&$@?r!"

This, it sounds like he went to Hart with Gruden's demands for assistant salaries and Hart said no way and Gruden's agent said ok then let's see how they respond to this.

This is why it was critical to Hart to get the $18M from Cheek. At that point he could do what he wanted, Boosters be damned.

I've felt this way almost since I first heard of it. I felt like it gave Hart the autonomy he wanted. But I hate to think we limited ourselves to 6mil for the HC and assistants. That almost automatically puts you looking at second tier candidates imo.

Let me just add that Adams was a total smart ass!!! And Hyams and Company were unbearable, they were almost gleeful. Even Swain's show was full of smart ass comments. Seemed like 98% of media was talking smack about Hargis.

Because he was doing what some of them should have been doing all along ..... You know actually digging and REPORTING sh*t

I dont know that for sure, just hearing bits here and there and trying to put them together. I do not believe Gruden ever had a contract in front of him from Tennessee, im sure boosters talked money with him though.

I get it...I really do understand if he truly feels that way.

Hell if I were in his position I might feel the same...

The problem I have with this is the way it has been left (i.e., "fantasy land"). If I had close personal ties to this football community (which he does), there's no way in HELL I would leave it that way, especially knowing how much we BLEED orange here.

Maybe the wording of LaMonte was exaggerated? Just wondering, seems Rucker has been in a rage, especially on twitter, wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have anything to do with the wording of that lol.

I'm bored. Anyone want this for old times sake?

***EDIT: FYI, AVI HAS BEEN CLAIMED***
