Don't pretend to know it all, and I am limited in what information I can get (can't really ask for it, just comes when it comes). Last night knocked me off my couch. Total shock. Gruden was coming. If everyone only knew how close we were to getting him...you think people are pissed now...

That is something I have been pondering since I stopped being quite so butthurt about the comments...it definitely took my focus from wanting Gruden so bad to wanting to beat the $#@# out of Lamonte. I'm hopeful that this is the case and it was a deflecting comment cause I still want Gruden bad.

The bs had to be believable and that statement won't matter once the end result occurs. A comment like that doesn't get released without a motive when you and your wife visit her family on a regular basis.

IF JG is waiting on a substantially large payment from TB or ESPN, then the LaMonte comments make a ton of sense. You can't dance around it, you destroy the rumor in order to save the payment.

Although there is a piece of me that thinks TB and ESPN would be smarter than that... they know how this works.

The whole LaMonte statement was a lie. He even ended it by saying that he was committed to ESPN when we all know Gruden will at least take an NFL job sometime soon. I know we had contact with him, but I can't believe he added the ESPN statement as well.

After listening to Ainge and Basilio today, I felt they were very level-headed and agreed with Hargis for the most part.

Hyams and Hubbs...different story.

In short, I gained alot of respect for Ainge, Basilio, and especially Stephen Hargis after today.
