UT or Hart has not addressed the fan base,media or nobody and I believe if Hart is keeping Tn from hiring Gruden then you would think the Big Money boosters would step in and put a stop to Hart. I think Hart is a problem and he is wanting to be the man.What happens if the booster dont open their check books up for a Strong,Golden,Fedora then what does Hart do ?
Hart just needs to get the he11 out of Knoxville.Tn is getting ready to be set back into the dark ages.If they think it cant get much worse then they will find out.
This will end bad for the football program and if its not a big name hire then Neyland will be empty next fall.I dont see people just keep investing money is Dooley type coaches.I know I wont renew my tickets.I think the big money people need to step in and take this over.

What I dont get is why Hart choose silence. It's obvious Gruden liked the publicity. I'm not convinced Gruden ever intended to come to the college level to coach. He suks in my eyes now. Along with ESPN.

Why the he!! Would our boosters have started planning a new coach after the Florida game? That makes no sense as it was our first loss. What if Dooley had won out? No way he gets fired after going 11-1, and they would have already negotiated a contract with Gruden?

I would not say I am in that group. Been in since the start. I have information from connections in the AD, Boosters (of which I am) and former players. Things I have been told are between what the OG's have and cuttinitclose have had. I know that all of those guys have been given info that was believed to be true. So much has leaked and been made up so fast it is hard to separate it all. I just know enough to say that it is not totally over. That is from those with money that are close to the real action. My checks are not big enough to be in that circle but enough to know some who are. Personally the biggest mistake I see if it does die is the stubbornness of Hart to let it get this far without letting the fan base know. We need to be unified one way or the other.

The last I heard on this was that he still has a 5 year show cause, and if he was hired he cannot coach in one game for each year of the show cause.

Here is the thing. If Gruden really wanted to be here and the boosters really wanted him here, he would be here. They would each reel in the troublemaker on their side and tell them to get it done.

Hart addressed us through hubbs and VQ earlier this morning. IMO. Next time you see hart, he'll be at a presser for the new HC.

The one thing I forgot to add to this pi$$ing contest is how slighted Hart felt by being gone around. The money met with Gruden and got an agreement (according to Y4B, who I believe). Hart CAN'T have been happy to find out that people whose jobs do not depend on this hire thought that they could do his job for him.

Just a thought as to why Dave might be playing hardball. LaMonte has the prize, sure, but the AD is in full fah q mode at the moment and is willing to make the $$$ sweat for their guy. I don't know Hart from Adam, but I would be willing to bet he's willing to teach the $$$ a little lesson.

I don't know the power that Bill Haslam has directly over Hart but if he has any it seems that Hart would be a fool to go against the Haslam FAMILY. Dang it, all the little details of who has what type of power that none of can answer drives me nuts.

Nobody knows crap all the report says is there sources say so. Something is extremely fishy here. Haslam hasnt said a word but he is the key to this.equation besides the man himself and hart. We need to here something from one these three guys in an official press conf. If gruden mania continues the university will have no choice. Could be major pr problem.

Skeeter NEVER was in.... bcarter was in, then out, then back in again, then now out again (maybe with sources but true), yay4bray is still posting next week, Lex said late today he was still in and I added Oldvols last post on the subject
