All I did was keep it real this whole time, sharing info, and my opinion as to what that info has meant to me. Yes, I am of the opinion Gruden is not coming but other than a few *******s that like to make their ****ty lives with fat ugly wives seem better by "being right", I have been here and open to discuss anything.

Then again there are those that take pride in making others feel bad, so they can feel better about being miserable. I think you are one of those people.

I'm just thinking "out loud" here, and I apologize if anyone else has already mentioned this, but what if, BIG IF, Dave Hart has reached some sort of an agreement with another big fish, say Bob Stoops, and this is the battle? Boosters want Gruden and Gruden wants UT, but Hart wants Stoops and Stoops wants UT as well. Just ran that through my head earlier and it was the only thing that made enough sense regarding this supposed head butting going on with this hire. I'll hang up and listen.

I know i dont have many post but i have been reading since the beginning and i remember reading one of the OG's say that in a couple of days we were gonna be getting reports that the money deal was going to come out and that it would look really bad and that it is deliberate leak so Hart can come in and save the day Am I remembering this incorrectly or does anybody else remember this???????

Not gonna leave Jon Gruden as my avatar when I am off the "believer" wagon.

Franklin has done things in a similar academic situation and a fraction of the budget. He would be a HUGE upgrade over Dooley. He is going to win 9 games this year at Vandy. I prefer him to Strong or Fedora.

How is Vandy in a similar academic situation? They do have special admission programs, UT does not.

Go back and read his original post. He was being asked for possible reasons why the deal fell through, not a sequence of events. So the reasons will conflict. Duh.

Not sure. Could be ESPN contractual probs or really wanting to get his last check from Bucs or gosh. Who knows. But. If Espn is reporting it's done then this is some thick thick smoke that wil hang for awhile as give them time for whatever reason

ESPN never said it was done. The only thing ESPN reported was that Gruden said he had no offer to own part of the Browns. that's it.
