SIAP but re: Hargis' source. Didn't he say earlier on Ainge that his source was one of the guys Gruden talked to about being on his staff? Maybe I am just making that up, but if that is the case and the guy is in Chattanooga couldn't his source be Dale Jones? Doesn't he coach at UTC? Again, SIAP or if I am incorrect anywhere here. Just my thoughts.

Dale is at ASU as the DC. He has not been approached. Fact.

Getting more negative confirmations guys. Not happy about it, just as upset as anyone, but at this point I no longer have any information that relates in a positive way that Gruden will be the next HC. I have always been honest in what I hear, and have never said 100% about him coming. I believe there was a deal that as of right now is off the table. Everyone I have talked to today relayed that same thing, including the long term former member of the AD that just two nights ago said he heard Friday and Gruden. Now he is telling me the same thing reported in VQ report. Have also gotten the obligatory "I told ya so" messages from other contacts that have been on the negative side a while now.

I will be here to discuss and listen and am open to about any scenario, just at this point do not look to me for info if you are looking for unbridled positivity without a smidgen of reality. Those have not ever and never will be my posts. What an awful day imo.

Football pays the bills for EVERYBODY in the AD. What happens if you add 5 million in costs to an AD that I already running at a 4 million deficit and then fail to raise revenue?

It would be good for a year during the honeymoon, but of he didn't get wins... Well weve seen how that goes with our fans.

Are the crickets in the stadium going to pay for their seats in the first 3 home games next year with a Fedora as coach? Austin Peay, Western Kentucky, South Alabama?
