How much history is out there of booster judgment toasting a university? Go watch the ESPN 30-for-30 on SMU. When booster's desires dictate AD policy, we are in for a heck of a ride.

Like I said, I'm just proposing saving judgment until it's informed judgment.

JMO but it depends on who the boosters are. If they are the group as has been reported I have 0% worry that they would do anything to get UT in trouble. I also trust their experience in putting mega deals together way, way more than any AD at UT.

Just speculating on if a tug of war is going on between Hart and boosters as was suggested in previous posts. I f Hart and boosters are on the same page, I agree no speculation is needed.

I believe you. I have no sources, but my instinctive reaction to all that's been rumored this week is that it ain't happening until next week at the earliest.

Yeah at this point there HAS to be a presser today to combat all the articles coming out saying Gruden has removed himself from contention....otherwise the last months will look like "childs play"

Honestly I completely agree with this. I paid for 1 month of 247 and did a month of the free trial stuff.

As I have said, their message board is full of really great, mostly non-bipolar people and I actually liked it a lot. But I'm not paying for a message board.

The info was no better than what I have gotten here, honestly. It's a bunch of "we have heard..." with speculation attached to what it means with no real delineation between what is speculation and what is fact. I never read anything earth shattering. He is a good writer but I can go buy Hemingway at McKays if I want that. I understand dude has to pay the bills and at first I thought he just got a lot of hate from his followers for no reason but realized that he's such a prick that I can't see paying him for that crap. Callahan is the real homerun guy over there with the recruiting info.

I was in class reading this the whole time. I probably have the highest grade in the class ad am always involved in discussion.. I don't know one word that was said today. After class, the professor asked me if everything was alright. My response? "Everything's good. Have a good weekend, and keep it Gruden, professor."

I hate to be a Grinch/Downer/Scrooge.

But this is just not happening today and people need to calm down and understand that or we are going to have some very upset people.

If it is true that Gruden is out , we need to take all that money and go get someone else that is nearly as big. A great coach would leave were they are for the money that is on the table!

Remember recruits were being told 6-10 days earlier this week. That's next week. Then you have issues of TB payment and smooth transition at ESPN. The Vols will not get the big SECCG bump many expected but they may yet get JG.

This is the nuttiest coaching search and smokescreens and misinformation that I've ever seen. This has turned personal and has turned into an all out journalism war.
