This makes sense. And, if true, Hart has to be terminated if Gruden is hired. Gruden cannot work for a boss who didn't want to hire him in the first place.

Also if true, Hart needs to go regardless of Gruden. I truly wonder if he has the best interests of UT at heart, his own or his alma mater's.

I am pretty pissed because if it is over they need to get that out there so the new coach has a chance of acceptance. I was told PR is something they don't have time to worry about. Terrible approach IMO

The concept that Dave Hart does not want Gruden but the boosters do HAS to be support for Gruden to UT. Hart has to know it is HIS ass on the line. But, "leaking" anti-Gruden stories would also put your position in jeopardy by irritating the fanbase AND the boosters. Deal already done then?
