Calm down buddy. The response to your post, most probably, was because of the ongoing "inside source"/troll battle that has been waged here since a few Official Gruden threads ago.

That being said - to answer your question, the big leak that came out tonight implied that Gruden has in fact had detailed contract negotiations with the UT staff and that any potential hangups are monetary issues.

Hart's press-release about the financial situation, mixed with the sudden emergence of 18 million dollars, mixed with the (still unconfirmed) rumors that the Haslams, Ergen, and Manning have had some behind-the-scenes dealings in all of this have pretty much expelled any credible reason that we couldn't front the money.

From the latest release, Gruden is available so long as we're willing to pay, and from everything credible leading up to this moment, money was never presented as an issue.

Anyone in this thread getting their jollies thinking that VN will melt down if we don't get Gruden but get another great coach is being a jackass. HEE HAWW. HEE HAWW

Yeah, I think lots of people of volnation are either about to get fired or about to get divorced or both. Lucky for me I'm unemployed (until Monday), so I've been able to do all this night shiftin' and still get 8 hours of sleep.

Yeah, i run into a few of mu competitors in the field and were all vol fans. He said the same thing, that his wife thinks he is insane and he cant stay off VN. Gotta love it though
