I'm not sure that they've missed a single angle.

Rucker, Hyams, the KNS staff, Basilio, Ainge, Brown, Low, Brice, Hubbs and more than a dozen more have all had different versions of what was or wasn't happening.

One of the strangest things I've ever seen.

Ok.

Hart said in his press conference that money will not be an issue in the coaching search.

Hangup in TFP article is staff salary.

If Hart misses out on Gruden, it damn well better not be because of staff salary...

I have lived in Chattanooga all my life. For those who don't know, the TFP is a stellar newspaper and how won many national awards.

Chattanooga, while is doesn't have any major sports teams, has some very well connected people. They're typically more loose with info because Chatt isn't the direct hub for a team, like Knox is for UT. We have a lot of "Old family money" here, and those are the types that are in the know on a lot of stuff, and the TFP is so respected, those people are very willing to contribute that knowledge.

With that said, you can bank on that story being gravely accurate. Let's wait and see if the boosters can give Gruden enough for his assistants. I can't imagine they will let this slip away.

Personally, I want to see Mark May eat crow.

The article indirectly took a shot at Hyams, Hubbs, Rucker et al by saying words to the effect" contrary to earlier media reports that talks had broken off". I love it

exactly, that's why Rucker is acting like someone peed in his cheerios.
