This is what I have been believing for a while. If there really is all this work going on "behind the scenes", then it can't look like it was a done deal for a couple of months. The AD and Gruden have to put on a cat and mouse show close to the announcement. It only makes sense IF the deal has been done for a while.

Here's what I'll tell ya-
1) Don't believe anything local media tells ya ( they either haven't had a clue from the start or they are part of a massive cover up.....for many reasons I believe it's the cover up)
2) I've had just as much info both ways so I can't say for certain which way this will go.
3) Based on what I know and decifering all the info it's either:
Gruden was the man and something happened at last minute or
Gruden is still the guy and nothing has changed.

Based on a plethora of information.... like I said before

That's a comical post. If it did go wrong at last minute then, which he admits is possible, hubbs/JimmyH were correct yesterday.

Morning Lex... all that I have spoken to are silent towards me right now....

But I am still confident... what Hymns put out yesterday is full on BS... there is never going to be a meeting with a new coach in Knoxville until it is an announcement

When closing a deal in my world for a lateral partner at large professional services firm or merger..there are usually some leaks that happen from either side for whatever reason that is part of the negotiation/posture/leverage but when it comes to closing time and all parties are ready to get married ..it is curse the darkness for everyone outside the room and zero leaks..this is either dotting i's with lawyers or hart screwed the pooch..no in between

Ha, there are not alot of guarantee's in life but Golden not being our next Coach is one of them. I would be shocked and heartbroken if it happens.
