No doubt. I think tomorrow if somebody(hubbs/lowe) doesn't give a 100per Gruden is out report in the media coming from a UT source then he is still very much in play for this reason.

Penn St. had a better record, after being decimated by the NCAA, than Miami did in a weak ACC.

Tennessee could hire a winner like Larry Fedora, and the fanbase will want him burn because the fan base is so enamored with a long shot.

No, the fanbase is tired of our team getting Sanduskied on the football field, and on the recruiting trail. Jalen Hurd even commented on how irrelevant we have become on the recruiting trail. If we don't hire someone that has a good name with this kids out there, we will bottom feed the East for a few more years.

The ACC was probably as strong as the Big Ten this year. It was that bad.

Miami had one bad loss, a one point loss at Virginia. They lost to four pretty decent teams.

I don't want to think about what happens if Golden is hired. I'm sorry but we will have to agree to disagree about his coaching abilities.

This is going to be epic no matter how it turns out. Gruden EPIC. Someone else, epic meltdown. Its only gonna get nuttier next few days.

First off, stop being so childish with the Sandusky thing. What are we 10? So immature.

Second, what track record did Brady Hoke have? Jim Harbaugh? Hell even Jim Tressel when he was hired by Ohio State? There is numerous coaches who didn't have that sort of "track record" and do/did great on the recruiting trail. Dooley went 6-7 his first year and pulled a top 12 class. Fedora wins 8 games his first year here and he'll do very well.

This argument no longer holds water. Hyams has said 2 weeks in a row now that talks had broken down and fallen through and nobody (including me) believed it, but half the people say he's a shill for the AD. What more do you want them to do?

On another note, I will make this fast because I'm tired. I spoke to Jennifer who is OL Austin Sanders 2013 recruit Mom on facebook. Me and Jennifer and his aunt Lynn grew up together in Harrison and I've know her all my life.

I asked her about the coaching situation and what she had heard. She told me that Coach Graham and Coach Pittman told her that she will know the new coach in 6-10 days so she told me she didn't know either. Now, she could have been told not to say anything to anyone and that I can respect.

She told me that Austin loves our Vols and he has been a fan all his life. She has been told not to worry about the situation and his scholly is secured. She is praying that everything works out and she has been assured by both coaches that they think they will stay and a bigname coach is coming and again she will know within the 6-10 day limit. She says also she was giving names that would be and yes Grudens name was one of them alone with 3 other names that she didn't go into detail about. She did tell me not to worry about Golden and some of the other names being throw out there.

Again, I think she knows who it is but not saying because everytime I mention to her Grudens name she sends me back a smiley face or thumbs up!!!

I forgot to also mention that Austin is 100% VFL even though she tolds me numerous SEC and ACC schools are calling him. She told me that he even told Bama coaches don't call me again and I'm 100% committed to Vols!!! TRUE VFL!!!!
