Think about it! Why doesn't the AD office release a statement the Grunden is not a candidate? They know the frenzy that has been building since Dooley was fired! This statement would lower Vol fans expectations, making the new hire not so anti-climatic.

Schools don't comment on candidates they are or are not considering on the record. My guess is they leaked the info on purpose to hubbs and jimmyH so we would move on.

Here is something I can guarantee. The OG's will take their lumps like men if Gruden doesn't come. But those of you who are saying he's not coming will be completely invisible if the OGs are proven right. You see, for some of us it's not about who's right and wrong, it's about having the guts to say you're wrong when you're wrong. But given that most of you like to follow radio hosts that just move onto the next topic vs. admitting they were wrong, we certainly can see what example you are following. LOL

Then Hart needs to hurry if he wants to save the day. I really do not understand why the department could not at the least just say we tried and he is out if it is the case because the people of Knoxvegas will riot Hart's house if this is the case. He cannot wait a lot longer that is for sure because he is setting himself up for something real bad here. I still feel like we have a good shot but it does not help my stance the way this seems to be going down that is for sure. Either Gruden or the AD needs to do something or this fanebase will be even more divided than the political views of the US.
