not to mention that he has turned off basically every potential recruit in the state. Many of these young men said they would reconsider with Gruden hire but FGSBx2 (Fisher, Golden, Strong, Davis, Jones) forget it!

Man am I confused, just had a visit at work that confuses me even more, from a former very high ranking member of the AD. Said "Hart either has Gruden locked up without needing a visit or has to announce something by Friday". He said he personally believes it to be Gruden. Said "It looks like Gruden is coming, and looks like the UTAD will be broke for several years doing it." Said he believes with every fiber of his being and has been told by everyone he knows that an announcement will be made Friday, but he is not sure what it will be. Seems to think it is either Gruden announced as coach or Gruden announced as a non-possibility to calm the fan base.

I asked him about the Hyams report and he said 4 days ago Hyams told him personally there was 0% chance of Hart even talking to Gruden. What a change in 4 days huh? From 0% chance of Hart talking to him to a 100% chance of a meeting cancelled.



Again sorry to be vague, take it or leave it. One of the first AD "insiders" I have talked to in a while.

Well, what the hell has Hart been doing sitting on his ass for the past few weeks? And by weeks, I mean he had to have a backup plan if Dooley were let go. I'm really starting to believe Hart has no clue.

Think about it! Why doesn't the AD office release a statement the Grunden is not a candidate? They know the frenzy that has been building since Dooley was fired! This statement would lower Vol fans expectations, making the new hire not so anti-climatic.
