For what it's worth, the beating you are taking is unfair. From the jump, your source has clearly been different than Hyams. Therefore, people freaking out on you over Hyams comment is unfounded and unwarranted.

I am still all in. Until someone says otherwise, I think it is Gruden. I will support my alma mater either way, but this is the guy I want to see. To be shaken by the reports of two men is just unfathomable.

I take some shots at Hyams because he is not my favorite, but he is putting out the info from the people he has contacts with. You are doing the same.

Thank you for bringing it and please don't stop doing so.

And, since it seems to be the case, a very select group are actually in the "know", and NO info has gotten out of the AD office, demonstrating the incredible ability to keep it under wraps re: Gruden, then the only thing reported is about a "cancelled" Gruden meeting??? Makes no sense. No way the only news out is negative unless deliberate. Setting up the straw man & getting attention away from Grude. Get ready for the knock down.

Amen. All any of the OGs do is relay information they are given and believe to be true. No one holds a gun to any of our heads to force us to believe them. I for one do believe. None of them have given me a reason not to. They have been straight and to the point and it is up to us to process it however we see fit. I know all of this has us on edge, myself included, but we have to remember, WE ARE VOLS! My blood had ran orange since I could walk (over 40 years) I've seen great times and I have seen bad times, but at the end of the day I am a VFL!

This thread is always going good and then Hyams or Hubbs says something and gets everybody upset. Then Hubbs or Hyams end up changing their tune on what they said. Hell how many times has Hyams flip flopped on this? Hyams knows nothing and Hubbs just says whatever the university tells him too so he can keep the inside track he gets from them on recruiting. Why does anyone still trust these guys?

I don't understand how a side step on Mike & Mike by Gruden himself and a reported cancellation of a meeting that was never reported in the first place, by a man who is wrong more times than not, gets everybody in such an uproar.

Let's get together and get some common sense going on.
