Was Gruden boxed in by the comments on the show and so cancelled the meeting with Hart?

This AD is a moron for not killing the Gruden rumors weeks ago. Now the fanbase will be more pessimistic, hopeless and divided than ever. I feel sick. :sick:

Exactly. All this if we get Golden we're doomed talk is nonsense. He is a good coach & would do very well here. People see his overall record & that he doesn't have a top 10 recruiting class at Miami & think he's horrible. With all the stuff going on at Miami & the sanctions that are about to level that program I'm surprised he's doing ad well as he is. If we don't get Gruden I'd be happy with Golden.

Tired of having a coach that people have to make excuses for. I do not want another one.

Maybe that was their motive. They knew they couldn't get him, so LSU may as well pay more for the Mad Hatter.

Not a good strategy because it drives up their own costs in hiring a solid coach.

the OG's have said for days to expect this crap toward the end! Just 2 days ago Hyams was no Gruden until Dr. Punch called him out.....I don't believe this at all! There is no way in hell that Hart is just now starting the "search"! NO WAY!! I trust Dr Punch an believe when he said that he thinks Hart already has his man! I think its Gruden or we would have been told differently by now.

Give the man a chance. Golden is a class act that will win at UT. He is disciplined and knows his football. Gruden is not Jesus Christ here guys.

Dooley was a class act and the son of a football legend... that turned out well.

Why was it not leaked before that there was a meeting? Now it's just being reported by that is has been cancelled. If we didn't hear there was a meeting before because the AD was locked down....why would we hear about this...JMO

Do not want Golden. Also, Strong, Fedora, Fisher all have less head coaching experience than Golden. Don't want any of them either. Heck, if we're going in that direction, might as well go after Bronco Mendenhall. At least he's a proven winner (72–29 record in eight years at BYU.)

If true the meeting was cancelled by Gruden then I would like to know why. That's the story here. I knew about the meeting, is it cancelled indefinitely, for 4 hours, one day, what? Is there any truth to it at all? These are my questions.

Joe Schad is going to report any and everything he hears on all teams. He throws it out and some sticks and some don't and he says everything is fluid and can always change. He is like a whetherman saying partly cloudy with a 20% cance of rain otherwise a nice day!! Nothing to get worked up in a frenzy over. The OG's said it was going to be a wild ride in the finals day before it broke. I hope nobody expected it would not be suspenseful!! GO VOLS GET GRUDEN!!!! RETURN TO GLORY!!! I BELIEVE!!:rock:

How come hart wont come out and talk about how the search is going and let us know. I'm not believing anything on any new coach or gruden until hart comes out and says something. I can't believe gruden because I have seen this happen with the Sabans at Miami and Meyer at Ohio state. I think at some point you would want your fan base 100% behind you
