I say Hyams should cover LSU and he will try to debunk any speculation on Gruden to UT. The people working on this deal would never(or the sports animal) let him actually break the story that Gruden is not coming, without an official announcement by UT

It probably is true that no "contract" has been formally offered. They don't usually offer the contract until they know it will be accepted.

I agree with several of you. Hart is going to look like a genius or the Derek Dooley of ADs. There isn't going to be any middle ground.
