Anyway, choose what you want to believe whether it has any basis in logic or not. Here is a good read by Mr.SEC on the coaching search. It does suggest there is still some hope on the Gruden front so fell free to latch onto that.

I have no clue what you're talking about? Every plausible signal that Gruden is not likely to come to Tennessee? Like what signal? Most of this madness is being caused because there is NO SUCH SIGNAL coming from the AD, which at this point is the only credible source.

YES! The part I highlighted from FW2's post is what is WRONG w/some of our players. Quit treating them as KIDS. 18 -21 year old kids are acting like men on a daily basis in the military, because the are trained, coached, and disciplined as men because it is expected. They sign on for a man's job and are treated as such.
Yes, it is just a game in college, but; it IS a multi-million if not billion $$$$ business and most are getting free educations in trade and they should act and be treated as such also. IMHO

I will tell you the last line in that article makes me sick to my stomach....

"So we believe Tennessee will chase Fisher — and if he won’t come — then land on a fallback candidate like Fedora, Golden or Strong."

I like it when one of his guests are talking, on cue, he keeps saying "mm hmm, mm hmm" like every 3 seconds. Knowing he isn't listening to a word they are saying.

All this stuff to me sounds like the gig at ESPN with the administration seems to be getting a little toxic. That would explain Mike and Mike having the nerve to pop the question this morning and then Cowherd totally misrepresenting Gruden's statement in his show. He said Gruden denied any interest or contact with UT when what Gruden denied was a partial ownership of the Browns. Though Cowherd did put UT in the top ten College Coaching positions even now, after many bad years. At the same time, people at Fox seem to be a little in the know. ESPN will hate us even more after taking their MNF star but that is ok with me. We will have Gruden.
