FWIW and not related to the coaching search at all, I think he has tremendous talent and potential. I would rate him the best returning WR if the big 3 (ZR, which he will because he's a senior, JH CP all leave). He only played a few plays, but he has great hands, good speed, and plays like he WANTS to be a VOL, which has been hard to find these past few years.

That's all I've got :)

In not so many words (and after I annoyed the crap out of both of them) I did come to the conclusion that they were hearing Gruden. Finally.

Before tonight they were completely in the dark and the thought of Gruden was foreign to them.

Coaches Majors and Gruden, along with their wives, were dining at the restaurant owner's place last week... Coach Gruden brought her a photo to place on her wall (which, if you know the restaurant, is covered with Vol football photos)...

CJG said he loves her place, it's his favorite restaurant (also featured at one time on Blackledge's "Taste of the Town")... Coach Majors was hinting and making innuendo all evening that CJG would be the next HC of the the University of Tennessee... announcement coming within the next week...

The restauranteur also told my parents that construction is progressing on CJG's new home in Sevier County...

that's what i have to report... flame away...

This is similar to something that was told to me. It was a financial consultant who said he believed the deal was signed because of his connections with former players, AD higher ups, ect. He didn't know time frame or anything. Also said something about a few others meeting with Gruden in Knox this week.
