His winning at temple was simply a miracle. He took over the worst program in college football with only 3 wins in the 3 years before he got there. He won 17 games in his last 2 years. That is a very serious history in taking a program at its lowest point and turning it into a winner.

I agree. He was awesome. At Temple.

Tennessee ain't Temple.

He's still not proven that he can win SEC or National Championships. He's proven he can take a terrible team and make it better than average. Just because the janitor can clean up a mess doesn't mean he's an architect.

The past 2 coaches should have told you we need a proven winner. No more guys with promise.

Swain tweeted a link that apparently news has broke of Peterson to Arky. If true it's a homerun. Maybe even a grandslam since he's been so tough to get out of Boise.

How likely is it that Mr. Raja J. Jubran of the board of trustees knows anything? I have a very good connection with him and could prob get some info from him tomorrow. Any chance he is in the know?

yeah gotta agree here...babyavai is keeping his cool and is making good choices. I don't agree with his pov either but it's cool that we can disagree. Powerful people can control themselves even when others are having trouble controlling themselves.

I hope that Boro is right, but why is it that I get sinking feeling that we have all sung this song before and this is just a different verse? Are we about to experience the Big Orange Screw for yet another time in our lives?

The problem with all of the rumors about cold feet in the administration is that they are absolutely believable. Is UT the most disfunctional university on the planet? It sure appears that way.

I will be severely disappointed, but not surprised, to see a Butch Jones or Dykes type hire. It just appears to be what we do.

No problem. I don't know what that means in regards to Gruden, but many say the 11/30 date is when he will be announced. Not sure how coaches are being told 7-10 days but they are being told bits of information. I don't think it rules out Gruden, but makes it more unlikely, in my opinion, if 11/30 is the date.
