If we don't hear anything this week and if any of the rumors flying around are true, I get the feeling UT passed on Gruden by not wanting to give him total control.

I don't believe the assistant AD part people have mentioned being a hurdle. I think he wants full control, but that might mean a lot of different things to many people. Total control for him might mean not worrying about a recruit or getting him help without having to check down 5 members of the Athletic department. I think this week is crucial for Gruden. Just doesn't make sense not to announce him if he is a done deal like many say, with recruiting taking a hard hit.

? Good Lord man what is with you all? Happy with myself? I simply stated that it obviously wasn't credible. I am just as disappointed that wasn't the case as everyone else. I still hold to what I have heard until otherwise told differently.

I still think that there is a process. Gruden has not turned us down. Gruden never said that he wanted to coach Philly...his agent did, which to me is a smoke screen. I still think that some are still getting way too wound up over the timing of an announcement. Heck, I started to get sucked into the drama until I realized the facts.

Lets just watch MNF and be chill? Gruden things will come to those who wait.
