The sports director of WJHL TV / channel 11 in the Tri_Cities just reported the sticking point with John Gruden is that Gruden wants to have an assistant AD position in addition to the HC position, and Dave Hart will not go for this. (If true, I support DH ). He also said Stoops had been contacted to gauge his potential interest, and Stoops supposedly said he is happy @ OU. TIFWIW, no inside sources, just quoting verbatim.

Good thing Jon Gruden doesnt want this.

Wrong. Philly is technically not out of playoff contention yet. You dont fire him now. What happens if they run off 6and in a row and win playoff games. Would bet money nothing has been decided yet. Philly is a talented team they are just having injury problems.
