By law the new coach can not be annonced until 2 weeks has past from the firing. Dooley was fired on the 18th. That puts the announcement date on 12/2. That's if they have a coach.

Dooley was hired in only 3 days. There is no such law.

Gruden will more than likely be on MNF. Dr. Punch said he didn't think it was possible two weeks ago, but the last two weeks the right questions are being asked so he isn't sure. He did hesitate, stutter, whatever you want to call it when they ask him if it was Gruden. Like I said before Punch is a respected guy and usually doesn't speculate on anything unless he has some info on it. If you have listened to him at all you would know this about him.

JMO, but if Jon Gruden is not doing MNF tonight then it is a bad sign for Tennessee unless he has confirmed he is headed to UT. Him not doing the broadcast tonight, in Philly, would seem like he is going to be their coach. Again, JMO.
